Paramount Roofing is now offering radiant heat barrier installation as a new service for homeowners across Metro Detroit. The addition expands the company’s exterior services to include an attic-level thermal solution designed to reduce heat transfer through the roof deck. The radiant heat barrier consists of a foil-wrapped bubble wrap material installed directly to the underside of the roof deck or draped over the top chords of the trusses. When properly installed along the top chords or roof decking, the material does not interfere with existing attic ventilation systems.
“Adding a radiant heat barrier gives our customers a practical way to address heat gain at the source, right where it enters the attic. It’s a straightforward installation that works with the ventilation already in place, and we’re glad to bring it to homeowners throughout Metro Detroit,” said Eric Reno, president of Paramount Roofing.
