There are a few things you can do to make sure your home is ready for the upcoming winter season. It’s really important to make sure your roof is in good shape. Set up a roof inspection so that it can be checked for any potential problem areas where there could end up being leaks. Also, if there are any tree branches hanging over your home, you may want to get them removed before they get weighed down by snow and ice.
A good way to save a little money on your heating bill during the Michigan winter, (and air conditioning in the Summer) is to make sure your home is properly insulated. Insulating your walls and attic can help keep all the warm air inside your home instead of escaping through the walls/roof.
